We invite you to help complete a meaningful project that will ensure the bravery and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes are remembered forever. The Asymmetric Operations Group (AOG) is continuing its efforts to raise funds for the Mogadishu Memorial, which will be located at the Army Heritage Center in Carlisle, PA.

This memorial pays tribute to the soldiers who fought during the Battle of Mogadishu, an event made famous by the film Black Hawk Down. The centerpiece is a statue of Medal of Honor recipient Randy Shughart, standing on a granite base engraved with the names of the fallen heroes from the 160th Aviation Regiment, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta.

We are just $60,000 short, with the remaining funds required to meet the Army's trust fund mandate for long-term maintenance. Your donation, whether big or small, will help make this memorial a reality and keep the legacy of these heroes alive.

How to Donate:

Your contributions are tax-deductible. Even a small donation of $25 will make a difference in honoring the men who gave everything on October 3, 1993. Thank you for your support in preserving their legacy.
